There is almost nowhere you want to be more than California. The variety of life in California ranges from forest to coast, desert to mountain, lakeside to the famous Napa Valley, the California vacation home rentals cover it all. Since there is something for just about every taste and preference, visiting California can seem a little overwhelming.
In the California north, check out home rentals around the California redwood forests, and marvel at these amazing giants. The weather is cold and often snowy in the winter months in the California north, so find yourself a cozy cabin with a warming fireplace or a forest mansion with gorgeous views and plenty of warmth.
Warmth is important in the Sierra Nevada Mountains bordering Nevada as well. Find yourself a cozy vacation home rental in Tahoe and enjoy both the skiing in the winter and the activities on the lake during the warm season. Journey a few minutes over the Nevada border and try your luck at the slots in the local casinos.
If you prefer a slightly warmer climate, try heading south a little ways to the Napa Valley and rent your vacation home there. You can spend your days touring the vineyards in the area and relaxing for as long as you want to. Don't forget to visit the beautiful Jack London Park before you head home, and take in the amazing scenery there.
If the beach is your preference, then you have one of the longest coastlines in the United States to choose from for your vacation home rental. The city of San Francisco is rich in history and in fun things to do every day. If you want a warmer beach, try heading down toward San Diego or Los Angeles in the southern part of the state. If you would rather a different theme, look out for Universal Studios and their amusement park, or check out Knotts Berry Farm's amusement park. For a different twist, head north to Paramount's Great America in San Jose, the Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, or keep going north to Vallejo to check out Six Flags Marine World theme park. California is as rich in roller coasters as it is in fine wines and coastlines. |
