If you are planning to get married in Las Vegas but you don't live there, you might want to use a company or wedding location that offers complete wedding packages to help make your long distance wedding planning easier. The Wedding Company of Las Vegas is one of these companies. The Boulder City, Nevada based company offers more than a dozen wonderful wedding packages that include everything you need for your special day.
They offer packages to many great destination locations around the Las Vegas area.
Besides your wedding site, the packages include photography, transportation, flowers, a wedding cake, and a DVD or video of your ceremony. They also provide you a minister or officiant to perform a civil, religious, or renewal ceremony.
Mount Charleston is one of the destinations they offer. This scenic mountain locale is a great place for a wedding. Located less than an hour from the Las Vegas Strip, the mountain is usually up to thirty degrees cooler than the Valley below. The Wedding Company provides a breathtaking overlook site at an elevation of about 8000 feet for weddings.
Another location they offer packages for is the Valley of Fire. This State Park features red limestone that is millions of years old and acts as an amazing backdrop for a wedding setting. They also offer a Valley of Fire package that includes a helicopter ride there with the wedding taking place on a 500 foot high mesa.
Other sites offered by The Wedding Company include a Boulder City park overlooking Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Las Vegas. The Lake Las Vegas weddings take place on a gondola and you have the option of adding a helicopter ride to that package as well.
A canyon location that overlooks the Las Vegas Valley, a Mediterranean style chapel, and a garden gazebo are also offered but probably the two most unique sites that they offer are an English tea room and a restored train.
The English tea room package includes a wedding in a Victorian styled tea room followed by a high tea reception. The reception menu includes tea, tea sandwiches, mini muffins, and scones.
The train package consists of having your wedding aboard a private train car on the Nevada Southern Railroad. The train runs on the same tracks that were used during the building of Hoover Dam back in the 1930s. A reception can also be arranged on the train.
The Wedding Company of Las Vegas offers some great weddings that are worth looking into if you are planning a wedding in the Las Vegas area. Their comprehensive packages offer you a lot of choices and make wedding planning much easier. |
