Many of you have seen the rubber wristbands that adorn the celebrity wrists of today but do you really know what they mean? There are certain ones that are worn for breast cancer and certain for general cancer and even ones for children with cancer. There are an unlimited amount of bracelets to buy for all sorts of causes. That is why they are called awareness bracelets.

The whole thing got started because of Lance Armstrong and the bright yellow band. Since then the trend has caught on and all of the causes are getting on the bandwagon. The cool thing is that now that the popularity has grown the companies that make these things have started to cater to the general public and started making very cost effective rubber bracelets in every color under the rainbow with any custom logo or phrase embossed on it.

The hard part I guess would be deciding what would go on your own bands. The key is to get your message across and make it fit on a band which has limited space to put information. The whole idea is that people will see it and be intrigued enough to ask what it means. That is an easy way for the door to open so that you can get your message across to as many people as possible.

Logos are really cool when they are put on this band. The thing that is cool is that they are interesting to look at and people will generally ask about them. They are simple and yet complex enough to raise curiosity. Look in to these bands for your cause or group. I think that you will find it takes very little for them to catch on and before you know it the points you want to make will be screaming form peoples wrists.
