Space Devices to Kill Satellites

Should we weaponize space in case we get in a war with another Super Power? Well that sounds far fetched today, unless Taiwan and Mainland China get in a scuffle and we intervene, then Russia picks sides? Which is not too far fetched, as China could end up in an Industrial Revolution type economic crash and decide it wants Taiwan real bad. Wars can provide economic prosperity in spending? Some countries go to war simply for the economic benefit of the build up.

What if China starts a war with us, then we would need to take out their satellites. Rather than launching a high-energy lasers into space why not simply launch an entergy tail, which collects electromagnetic energy while it orbits. On the tail would be donuts the size of baseballs, which would explode on impact with a set of thrusters. The entergy tail would have a positioning mechanism on it to stay in orbit and allow the balls to slip off the bottom as needed to become flying space debris, with a little inertia guidance system in them. This inertial guidance system would simply keep repositioning itself until it was on a perfect collision course with the enemy satellite.

Since the space debris is cataloged and tacked this space debris would not be cataloged or expected as it would not be space debris until launched. This system could even be made a component commercial satellite as a simple energy source, thus no one knows and it if never needs to be deployed great and kudos to the human race. But if it does and things get tough we do not have to worry about unnecessary enemy net-centric systems in space tracking our Blue Force or guiding in the red force to ace our guys. Think on this.
